Dr Farha Naseer Ghazal

Dr Farha Naseer Ghazal is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, with broad clinical experience across NHS and independent-sector mental health services. Her career has encompassed community psychiatry, acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, forensic and urgent care services, as well as experience within perinatal psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Older Adult Psychiatry.

Dr Ghazal has worked across both inpatient and outpatient settings and has extensive experience in assessing and managing complex mental health presentations and psychiatric risk. Her approach places particular emphasis on recovery, rehabilitation and collaborative multidisciplinary care, ensuring that treatment is tailored to the individual and their wider circumstances.

She has a particular interest in women’s mental health, informed by her experience across general adult and perinatal psychiatry. She also has a developing specialist interest in adult ADHD assessment and treatment, alongside her broader work supporting adults with a range of mental health difficulties.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Ghazal has held senior leadership roles across both NHS and independent-sector services. She currently works within NHS community psychiatry, bringing together extensive clinical experience, leadership and a compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
