Natalie Dean is a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), EMDR therapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 16 years’ experience working across NHS mental health services, the criminal justice system and healthcare education. She provides evidence-based psychological therapy through her private practice, supporting individuals with a range of common and complex mental health difficulties.
Natalie specialises in the treatment of anxiety disorders and trauma-related conditions, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder, generalised anxiety, health anxiety, social anxiety and depression. Her clinical work integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), both well-established, evidence-based approaches.
Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative and person-centred, with a focus on helping individuals understand their experiences, develop practical coping strategies and achieve meaningful, lasting change. She adapts her approach to meet the needs of neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and ADHD, ensuring therapy remains accessible, tailored and effective.
Alongside her clinical work, Natalie is a Senior Clinical Nurse Educator within the NHS, where she teaches psychiatry and psychological approaches to healthcare professionals and medical students.
